Dance Showcase

One is hosting an evening of dance this week.
BTEC and A Level students have created a showcase event that will take place on Wednesday 21 March 2018 from 7pm, tickets cost £4.
Whilst nationally the picture is one of arts subjects receiving cut backs, Lois Hinsley, only sees these (arts) subjects going from strength to strength.
The Head of Curriculum, said, "We have had a number of successes over the years with many students going off to study performing arts subjects at university. People like Jack Parry who went to study with the Northern School of Contemporary Dance.
"I'd say that ONE has become a beacon of excellence in terms of these courses that attracts people from across Suffolk and Essex. We value these courses and want to nurture local talent and we invite the local community to come and see the progress that our students are making at this dance showcase this week.
In terms of the event, Lois added, "The event will be less 'Strictly' and more 'Diversity' with a range of contemporary, jazz and modern work as both solo and group pieces. There will be something for everyone."
