A group of seven Biology students travelled to Essex University to take part in a poster presentation showing results from their plant research work.

Students carried out experiments in a project funded by the Royal Society in collaboration with Professor Lawson at the School of Biological Sciences at Essex University.

The audience consisted of Professor Lawson's research group made up of scientists specialising in Plant Physiology research.

The seven students were chosen (Rosie Gault, Jack Cattermole, Cameron Collins, George Russell, Lottie Robinson, Matthew Lawrence and Adam Stocks)  based on the quality of their posters during the first stage of the project and a select group will go on to present at the Royal Society in London in November 2019.
