There is a huge skills gap in the engineering sector, and no shortage of opportunities with over 6,000 organisations employing around 900,000 engineers. Career opportunities exists across a broad spectrum of sectors including civil, structural, electrical, electronics, mechanical, aeronautical and renewable energy. We have tailored our units of study around these career paths to enable our learners to progress into Higher Education, employment, Degree Apprenticeships and Apprenticeships. We have strong links with industry within the county, such as Superstructures, EDF and Brafe Engineering.
