Teacher of Economics and/or Business

This is an excellent opportunity for a well-qualified and inspirational teacher of A Level Economics and/or Business to become an integral member of our energetic and supportive Business, Accounting and Economics team. The Economics and Business Curriculum
The curriculum at ONE currently offers A Level Economics (EdExcel), Business (EdExcel) and Accounting (AQA); alongside Level 2 and 3 Extended Diplomas in Business (Pearson). As such, depending on their preference, ONE offers teaching staff the opportunity to specialise in one area of expertise, or to teach across a number of subject areas, within a collaborative and supportive team.
With a comprehensive range of industry links, students enjoy direct leadership, mentoring and progression opportunities from nationally- and internationally-recognised Business organisations, including the Institute of Directors. Always seeking to add to this portfolio, we welcome applicants with previous industry experience, or with a commitment to expanding students’ horizons through direct industry engagement.
We are seeking to appoint a positive, personable and highly-motivated teacher with the following characteristics:

We are looking for a well-qualified and inspirational English teacher. The person we appoint must have a lively and stimulating approach to teaching and learning, the ability to teach to a high academic standard at GCSE and AS/ A Level, and a commitment to the learning and well-being of all young people.

Examinations and Data Administrator
Commencing 27th August 2019
Part Time (22.2 hours per week, 52 weeks per year)
Grade 3 (Actual salary will be £11,055 gross per annum)
We wish to appoint an Examinations and Data Administrator to organise and run the vocational, functional skills and on-line aspects of our external assessments, ensuring compliance with the regulations of the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ).
Reporting to the Management Information Systems and Examinations Manager, and working closely with our other Examinations and Data Administrator, the postholder will also be required to set up and maintain domestic seasons within the college system to ensure internal exams and external set tasks can be timetabled efficiently.
Following a supportive induction programme, the successful applicant will gain an understanding of all elements of examinations offered at the College.
You should possess highly effective written and verbal communication skills, be adaptable and able to solve varied problems by using analytical, judgmental and creative skills.
