One raises awareness of mental health during national campaign

One has been holding daily sessions relating to mental health issues last week to support staff and students.

The activities have taken place as part of Mental Health Awareness Week – a campaign that seeks to encourage people across the country to seek support and advice for all matters relating to their wellbeing.

Healthy eating, mindfulness, fitness and combatting stress were some of the themes at One.

On the final day of the campaign, employees and students were encouraged to wear green ribbons and clothing in homage to the 'green ribbon campaign' run by the Mental Health Foundation that is aimed at getting people to reach out, feel less alone and seek support.

Marketing manager at One, Frances Vickerstaff, said, "The wellbeing of our students and staff is hugely important to us as an organisation therefore we were delighted to support this great awareness campaign."
