One proud to support Suffolk Day

One has been flying the county flag on Suffolk Day.
Top performing teachers and staff from One have been recognised for excellence via a national award scheme run by Pearson.
Three members of staff and the learning resource team were presented with certificates by Principal Jenny Milsom and Nicola Manning received a national silver award from one her students.
The learning resource team promoted the county via a display - and the art department showcased students work based on Suffolk land and seascapes. These works can be seen by the public during an art exhibition at One that starts at 6pm on Thursday 27 June 2019.
The English department also launched a book called 'Perspectives' showcasing stories and poems from current and former students.
"We are proud to support Suffolk Day. It was a beautiful day and it's a beautiful county," said marketing manager, Frances Vickerstaff.
