‘Audience should have jazz hands at the ready’ for West End musicals tribute

Students are gearing up for their greatest show ahead of a one-night musical extravaganza in Ipswich called West End to One.

 

A variety of classic numbers will be performed by One BTEC students on Tuesday 4 June 2019 from 7pm.

 

Songs on the playlist include everything from Carole King to Kinky Boots.

 

17 year old Olivia Campbell-Barr from Woodbridge will be starting a foundation course with The Children's Theatre Company in Needham Market at the end of her course. She said, "We will be doing everything we can to make this a night to remember."

 

19-year-old Frankie Sandham from Ipswich will be going to Brighton University to study media and journalism from September. She said, "The audience should have their jazz hands at the ready."

 

Director of Curriculum, Lois Hinsley, said, "Our students are looking forward to showcasing their talents by performing songs from some of the best loved musicals ever written."
