One Sixth Form College Volleyball team crowned Champions

Our Under-19 volleyball team were crowned County Champions at the U19 County Volleyball Competition held at Suffolk New College last month.

The event was scheduled as a 4v4 tournament, but unfortunately one of our team members was unwell on the day, leaving our students to compete with just three players. Despite this setback, the team showed exceptional resilience, teamwork and determination throughout the competition.

Facing seven other teams from across the county, our players rose to the challenge in every match. Through consistent performances, strong communication and impressive skill on court, they accumulated points steadily across the tournament stages. Competing a player short made their achievement even more remarkable, as they demonstrated outstanding fitness, focus and tactical awareness.

By the end of the day, their hard work paid off as they were officially crowned County Champions. This is a fantastic accomplishment and a testament to their commitment, sportsmanship and team spirit.
