We are recruiting to the following exciting opportunities:
Graduate Teaching Assistant (History)
Commencing September 2020
Grade 3 (£6,179 gross per annum)
Part Time – 2 days (15 hours per week), 38 weeks per year
Fixed term contract until 30.06.2021
We are seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant to provide support within our History Team. The successful candidate will support our teachers with routine tasks and assist with the organisation of history trips and HE liaison events. This is an exciting opportunity to gain valuable experience and utilise your subject knowledge!
Specific tasks include:
- Classroom support and assisting with student coursework
- Taking small groups to enhance and improve their learning on key points
- Supporting Supervised Study and giving guidance to students working independently when they need it
- Production of resources and moving resources onto electronic platforms
- Assistance with assessment and marking

Teacher of Applied Science with Chemistry specialism
Commencing 24th August 2020
Part Time (0.4 FTE)
12 month fixed term contract
We are looking for a well-qualified and inspirational Applied Science Teacher with experience of teaching Chemistry content who will continue to drive and further develop our Science Curriculum. This is an excellent opportunity to join our team. The person appointed must have a lively and stimulating approach to teaching and learning, the ability to teach to a high academic standard at level 3, and a commitment to the learning and well-being of all young people. This is a tremendous chance to work with students who value science, enjoy learning about the subject, and want to work hard to succeed.
