We received our first Ofsted inspection in May 2012. The Ofsted inspection report recognised the high quality of teaching and learning here and the good and in some cases excellent achievement of all our students, irrespective of their needs and abilities.

Overall we were graded as 2 which equals “good” for all the categories of; Achievement of pupils, Quality of teaching, Behaviour and safety of pupils and Leadership and management we were also graded as “2.”

We received a superb A Level Performance Systems (ALPS) report

The reports are designed to give institutions analysis on how they have performed against national benchmarks, at student, subject and overall level. Over 1,200 schools and colleges are using ALPS nationally as it helps teachers and students to understand how they should be performing within the curriculum.

    Celebrating Student Success

    Results Day August 2014

Paul Midgeley received three A* grades and this will enable him to start a prestigious tennis scholarship at Dartmouth College in New Hampshire. He will also be studying English Literature when in the USA.

Paul was ranked in the top ten of UK players in his age group last year and he can’t wait to start his American adventure.

He said, “This can only help my game. The knowledge I will get from the coaches will be invaluable as I look to achieve my goal of becoming a professional tennis player. The USA is very big on confidence and self-belief and getting an idea of how they do things over there can only help me in the long run.”

Kayleigh Skene is going to study psychology at Sydney Sussex in Cambridge.

Whilst there many students will be heading off to University, a number of students have already secured exciting apprenticeships with local, National and International companies.
