One students and staff are feeling the love in the run up to Valentine's Day and are backing an 'I love my college' campaign that was set up by a group of colleges based in Norfolk and Suffolk.
Students and staff from the 'New Anglia Colleges' group have been urged to stage various love themed events that will celebrate the role that sixth forms and colleges in this region play.
At One, students have been sharing what they love most about being at college at a sharing corner. They were able to express their views about the positive role college has and catering staff created a selection of heart shaped cookies to celebrate the day.
Some of the students talked about their love for One. Daniel Dzregah, is studying BTEC Level 3 Art & Design at One. He said, "The atmosphere is very relaxed and there's more individuality here than there was at school."
Elina Tirele is studying Business, Psychology and English Literature at One. She said, "It's so refreshing compared to school because you can have your own opinion here and not be judged. College is a fresh start and students have more freedom to express themselves."
Shan Squirrell who studies A level Business, Psychology and Drama at One, said, "In high school you felt inclined to behave and dress like everyone else, but at One you develop your own style. It may sound cliché but it gives you the opportunity to find yourself."
Admissions and marketing manager, Frances Vickerstaff, said, "This is a great campaign that helps champion the important role that colleges and sixth forms have".
The full list of colleges involved in the New Anglia Colleges Group is: City College Norwich, The College of West Anglia, East Norfolk Sixth Form College, Easton and Otley College, Great Yarmouth College, Lowestoft College, Paston Sixth Form College, Suffolk New College, Suffolk One and West Suffolk College.
