Students from Sprites Primary School in Ipswich joined us at One on 23rd February to learn about and experience Digital Literacy.
The young students of Sprites Primary School are learning about the stories people tell, including Myths, Legends, and Fairy tales this term, meaning that it was a great opportunity for the students to come and read story books and enjoy interactive stories using the iPads at One. The Learning Resource Centre team were on hand to help the students access Apps allowing them to immerse themselves in the stories. The iPads meant that students of all reading abilities were able to get involved, listen, read along and interact with the stories.
The afternoon of fun-filled learning activities for the students of Sprites Primary School also coincided with World Book Day 2017. One students were able to participate in World Book Day by getting involved in our Mannequin Reading Challenge.
