Cyber Safety Event
We will be holding an online webinar for our Cyber Safety Event. The event aims to share some key information for parents/carers and students to enable them to stay safe online. The event is open to anyone, not just students and parents of One.
We have some fantastic speakers joining us to deliver presentations, they will also be available for our live Q&A session as the event takes place.
1. John Greenwood - Cyber Security Advisor, Norfolk & Suffolk Constabularies.
John will be talking about the Misuse Act, explaining some common attacks types (with jargon explained!), outlining the purpose of the Cyber Choices scheme, giving an insight into career opportunities in cyber and signposting us to some useful resources.
John will also be covering a section on Cyber Security and ensuring you are in control of your Digital footprint.
2. Dave Layton-Scott - FE/HE Prevent Coordinator East of England
The ACT early website looks to support parents, friends or members of the community at large who may be concerned that somebody they know is at risk of being exploited and possibly radicalised. Dave will introduce us to Prevent and the issues it covers.
3. Alison Baker - LRC Manager
Alison will be covering aspects of online safety that we share with our students.
4. Claire Darwin – Service Lead: Suffolk Psychology and Therapeutic Services
Claire will be giving an introduction to the services she offers.
The event will run from 6.30pm, please join us for our Live Event via Teams. A recording of the event will be available to view once the event has finished if you are not able to join us at the time.
